PADANG - The CPO warehouse belonging to PT Padang Raya Cakrawala (PRC) in the Teluk Bayur Port area, Padang, West Sumatra, has caught on fire. 120 firefighters were deployed to extinguish the flames.

According to the Head of Operations Division of the Padang City Fire Service, Basril, Sunday (24/1/2021),
firemen along with 12 fire trucks, finally managed to put out the fire after 3 hours.

"We got the information at around 15:21 WIB and immediately sent firemen to the site," he said, quoted from Antara.

According to Basril, an eyewitness said that a fire had emerged from the CPO warehouse and residents immediately reported it to the Fire Department.

According to him, this area which is owned by PT PRC is around 8,000 square meters and the burned area is around 1,000 square meters.
